276 customers, nearly $200K a month: Cometly's attribution bet
Grant Cooper's marketing attribution platform shows $198,248 in verified MRR and more than $10 million in all-time revenue on TrustMRR.

This story is based on public sources: verified revenue on TrustMRR, the Cometly website and Grant Cooper's public profile on X. It is not an interview. Revenue figures were last checked on 4 November 2026.
Ask a B2B software company which of its ads actually produced revenue, and the honest answer is often "we're not sure." Cometly is built to answer that question, and the number of customers behind its revenue is what makes it unusual.
The numbers
On TrustMRR, Cometly shows $198,248 in MRR from just 276 active subscriptions. All-time revenue is $10,177,744, and revenue in the last 30 days was $221,607. The revenue is verified through a Stripe API key, and the listing ranks Cometly #14 on TrustMRR.
The listing says Cometly was founded in October 2020 in the United States.
Few customers, big contracts
The ratio is the story. $198,248 spread across 276 subscriptions works out to roughly $720 per subscription per month. Many products on TrustMRR reach similar revenue with thousands of small customers. Cometly gets there with a few hundred companies paying for something tied directly to their ad budgets.
That makes sense for what it sells. A company spending heavily on ads has a strong reason to pay for software that shows which dollars work.
What it does
Cometly's homepage calls it "AI Marketing Attribution for B2B SaaS Companies." The promise is to "tie every ad dollar to closed-won ARR" and to get better ad results by sending accurate attribution data back to the ad platforms. In other words, it tracks a customer from the ad they clicked to the deal they signed, then feeds that signal back so the ad platforms can optimize for revenue rather than clicks.
The newest layer is AI. Cometly says users can "use AI to chat with your ads data," and its homepage promotes an agent that answers questions such as which sources are driving closed-won revenue this month. It also offers a Cometly MCP for use in Claude.
The founder
Grant Cooper lists himself on X simply as "Founder," based in Los Angeles, with links to several companies. He has about 2,100 followers, a small audience for a founder whose company has passed $10 million in verified lifetime revenue.
Why it matters
Cometly is a good example of a business that does not need a huge customer count. It sells to a specific buyer, solves a problem that is directly tied to that buyer's spending and charges accordingly. Six years in, a few hundred customers add up to more than $2 million a year in recurring revenue.
