This policy explains what information Untold Startups (https://untoldstartups.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, used only to send the newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
• Story submissions: the details you enter in the submission form (name, email, company and story details, plus any files you upload), used to evaluate and prepare a story.
• Emails you send us: kept so we can reply and follow up.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider may process standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the site.

How we use it

We use your information only to run the publication: sending the newsletter, reviewing submissions, interviewing founders and replying to messages. We do not sell personal data.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Vercel, and email is delivered through an email service provider. These processors handle data on our behalf.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing mattreip@untoldstartups.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
