Postiz went from $17K to $359K MRR in a year. Nevo David never applied to YC

The open-source social media scheduler shows $359,296 in Stripe-verified MRR on TrustMRR. Its founder's public posts trace the path from a failed app to one of the fastest-growing indie SaaS products.

This story is based on public sources: verified revenue on TrustMRR and Nevo David's own public posts on X. It is not an interview. Revenue figures were last checked on 3 November 2026.

Social media scheduling is one of the most crowded corners of SaaS. Buffer, Hootsuite, Later and dozens of smaller tools all compete for the same customers. Nevo David's Postiz is growing faster than almost any of them anyway.

The numbers

On TrustMRR, Postiz shows $359,296 in MRR from 10,553 active subscriptions, verified with a Stripe API key. All-time revenue is $1,712,047, and revenue in the last 30 days was $393,931. Month-over-month growth on the leaderboard is listed at 51%, and Postiz ranks third by MRR on TrustMRR's homepage.

The listing also notes that a significant part of recurring revenue is billed through Whop, a separate platform, and is not included in the Stripe figures. By that note, actual MRR is higher than what is shown.

Postiz was founded in July 2024 and is registered in Hong Kong. It describes itself as "the ultimate agentic social media scheduler": plans start at $29 a month with a 7-day free trial, and the product is open source.

A year in posts

Nevo has shared the climb almost week by week.

  • In early October he wrote that on 1 January he was at $17K MRR and planned to finish the year around $30K.
  • On 14 October he posted that Postiz had passed $3,000,000 ARR, "still growing by $3k MRR every day".
  • On 15 October he shared $275K MRR, 1,433 active trials and 8,052 customers.
  • On 21 October Postiz passed $300K MRR, and three days later he posted $316,840.
  • On 3 November he wrote that Postiz was adding "around $5k MRR per day".

He has linked part of the recent surge to AI agents. In his 21 October post he wrote that people expected the hype to die after the OpenClaw release, "but the opposite happened". Postiz now pitches itself as a tool that lets agents run social media on autopilot.

The app that came before

Postiz was not Nevo's first product. In an October post he wrote that in 2021 he "was devastated". His app Linvo made $5K a month but "burned far more than it earned", and he was "drowning in bugs and nonstop customer success tickets". He took a job at Novu, the open-source notification company, because his finances required it.

That background shows in how he talks about focus. Commenting on a debate about running many products versus one, he wrote that he is "always all in on going with one product", because in Postiz "there is always something to fix".

Not selling, not raising

As growth slowed earlier in the year, friends told him to sell. He recalled a friend's advice when daily growth dropped from $3K to $1K: sell before the momentum disappears. He did not.

He has also stayed away from venture capital. On 3 November he wrote that he does not understand founders applying to Y Combinator with apps that already make money: "even if you get in, money won't save you- and this is why I never applied to YC with Postiz."

What's next

His public to-do list is unglamorous. Heading to the Uneed residency in France in late October, he said his goals for the week were to move Postiz from Railway to AWS and to move all environment variables into a vault service. At more than ten thousand subscriptions, infrastructure is now the job.

Why it matters

Postiz is evidence that a crowded market is not a closed one. A founder who had already failed once picked the most competitive category in SaaS, open-sourced the product, and grew it roughly twentyfold in under a year without outside money.
