Jack Friks built Post Bridge to $49K MRR and says followers aren't the reason

The cross-posting tool shows $49,415 in Stripe-verified MRR on TrustMRR. Its founder, who has 186,000 followers, keeps telling people the audience is not what makes a business work.

This story is based on public sources: verified revenue on TrustMRR and Jack Friks's own public posts on X. It is not an interview. Revenue figures were last checked on 3 November 2026.

Jack Friks has around 186,000 followers on X. He would like you to know that this is not why his business works.

The numbers

Post Bridge lets you publish content to several social platforms at once from one dashboard. On TrustMRR, it shows $49,415 in MRR from 1,642 active subscriptions, verified with a Stripe API key. All-time revenue is $565,468.

The company was founded in September 2024 in Canada. Its target customer, according to the listing, is "one person marketing a business". Pricing is $39 a month for the Marketer plan and $99 for Operator. The stack is Next.js, Supabase and Stripe.

That is about 14 months from founding to roughly half a million dollars in verified lifetime revenue, for a product in the same crowded category as Postiz, Buffer and Hootsuite.

"You need to GET BETTER"

Jack's recurring message is that distribution is a skill, not a follower count. On 1 November he wrote that "180,000 followers doesn't do that much btw". It helps, he said, but making a post and expecting a new business to become an overnight success "is not how it works", and "in order to make even $1k MRR you have to provide real value and market well".

He backs that with his own experiments. A day earlier he described an app that got 150,000 downloads "WITHOUT my 100k+ following", using fresh Instagram and TikTok accounts. He said the content he made and posted himself reached nearly 100 million views, and that he then scaled it "using post bridge".

That is the clearest product pitch Post Bridge could have. The founder used it to run the distribution playbook he is selling.

Built on someone else's playbook

Jack is open about where he learned it. On Marc Lou's birthday in October, he wrote that Marc "is the reason i have a $40k MRR business that lets me wake-up and do whatever i want."

The indie maker scene on X is small enough that these stories overlap. Marc Lou built TrustMRR, which now verifies Post Bridge's revenue. Nevo David's Postiz competes in the same category. Each of them posts numbers in public, and each helps the others get attention.

Rebuilding, not raising

The other theme in Jack's posts is independence. On 31 October, the day he relaunched his couples app Lovelee, he wrote that he was "so glad i never got accepted into Y combinator", because it "probably would have ruined my aspirations in life to answer to no one (other than my wife)".

The relaunch itself is a lesson in standards. He said that a year ago the app made $10,000 and got 150,000 downloads in its first two months, "but it kinda sucked, so i remade it from scratch."

He is also candid about the odds. On 3 November he posted that "it's far more likely that you will fail rather than succeed", but "there is always a chance you will succeed for as long as you keep going".

Why it matters

Post Bridge is a simple product in a busy market, and it works because its founder treats marketing as craft. His numbers are verified and his advice is specific. He keeps saying the audience is the smallest part of it.
