30 subscriptions, $2.7M in revenue: inside Jacky Chou's Indexsy
Indexsy sells SEO services and buys online businesses. On TrustMRR it shows $2.74M in verified all-time revenue and more than $1M in the last 12 months.

Indexsy is not a software startup in the usual sense. It's a services business that sells SEO and link building, and it also buys and runs online businesses. Its numbers show how far a services company can go without a big subscriber count.
The numbers
On TrustMRR, Indexsy shows $2,742,738 in all-time revenue, verified through a Stripe API key. Revenue over the last 12 months was $1,008,534, and $63,409 in the last 30 days.
Recurring revenue is a smaller part of it: $37,830 in MRR from just 30 active subscriptions. Much of the rest comes from one-off orders. The site lists products such as niche edits, local guest posts, citations and full SEO audits, and TrustMRR gives the starting price as $50.
Monthly revenue rose through 2026. TrustMRR's timeline shows $53,236 in December 2025, a peak of $130,960 in May 2026 and more than $95,000 every month from June to September. October came in lower, at $71,267.
The TrustMRR listing gives a founding date of December 2015 and Canada as the country.
Services, software and acquisitions
The Indexsy website describes the company as "a holding company focused on acquiring and scaling profitable online businesses." It says: "We don't advise from the sidelines. We buy, operate, and grow businesses ourselves using the same playbooks we run in-house."
Alongside services, Indexsy lists its own software products, including Localrank.so, Trackings.ai, Ranktack, IndexChex and Looker.so. For sellers it promises an offer "within 24 hours" after they share three months of revenue and traffic numbers.
The company's own figures, which are not verified: 57 digital assets managed, 16 Fortune 100 clients served, a fully remote team and "0 Outside funding raised." It names Thrasio, Sotheby's and Medtronic among brands it has worked with.
The founder
Jacky Chou runs Indexsy in public. His X bio reads "We buy and operate incredible online businesses in public," and his display name adds that he is "buying online businesses up to $1m." He has about 63,000 followers.
Why it matters
Most stories about online revenue are about SaaS. Indexsy is a reminder that a services business can produce software-like numbers. More than $1 million in verified revenue in a year, with a few dozen recurring clients, comes from selling a service that customers buy again and again.
